Do you just let your guys play in the first half until they get all 3? No reason to sit and waste them. Do you go ahead foul late in the first half if you have less than 2? Agaib why waste them if they're no value in the 2nd half? I can see more FTs and clock stoppages...

Just call it quarters and be done with it.

I'm for less timeouts overall. There's way too many stoppages. Game flow is almost non-existent.

What does widening the lane do?

I like the current 10 second rule. If you can play defense that well you should get rewarded.
