State Constitution grants this to the Governor in case of emergency. After that our governor extended the order at which time most law enforcement in the state broke from him. The legislature did and that created a legal battle. The State Supreme Court finally struck down the extensions of the order.

Law enforcement in our state led the way. And so many of us are grateful for them.
