It's logical though to support the Police because it benefits the Populace.. let's be real their job is to keep the criminal element detained in area's away from the productive citizens. They are lesser of the two evils they do have gov. oversite which can be good or bad.... but without them the Criminal element goes unchecked and would be far worse than the occasional rogue cop. You can't socialize, nurture or pray away the Criminal element to believe that is illogical.

The Police are a necessary element of any Society, if they are not present then you have a Jungle and Only the strongest survive.
