people who respect the rights of the individual have always supported reduced influence of law enforcement and a change to the legal system.

Calling a movement "anti-cop" is a politically altering the narrative to rally a base against a change that would diminish political power of politicians.

Are there people who are "anti-cop?" I'm sure there are, and they are just as guilty of perpetuating a narrative for their own political gain. Both sides are guilty of it and you are falling for it hook, line and sinker.
