Wouldn't the simple solution be show up in court or take

Care of the warrant if you do forget?
When we were kids my cousin went to jail for an outstanding parking ticket the judge had issued a warrant on. He was not killed because when the cop explained the situation my cousin quietly went with the officer. It was after hours so he had to spend the night in jail for a parking ticket.
It was not a tragic story because he was not an idiot, well outside of the fact that he did not pay his ticket and it cost him a night in jail. It is something we laugh about thirty years later.
Simply comply with police officers, even if they are in the wrong. Any error they make can be fixed at a later time. If you escalate and they use lethal force it really does not matter who was in the right at that point.
