So your assumption that Chauvin "prevented" them from doing so for several minutes is patently false. They never tried to administer the antidote because they had no idea (on the scene) that Floyd had taken fentanyl or any other opioid. When asked, Floyd denied taking any drugs at all. If paramedics had known, they could have administered it immediately (even with Chauvin's knee in place) but it wouldn't have counteracted a 3x lethal dose anyway.
