I agree that her future was likely not playing in the field for us. We have some excellent defensive infielders with more on the way it appears.
The problem with her being the DP may be in her make up. Some players do well as a DH in the American League and some can't do squat in that roll. Same as being a bench player MLB teams have as guys they want to be their "pinch hitter"!
