Have no idea what is in her head, but I was concerned that she wants to be an everyday player, meaning playing in the field, not just DHing.
Problem is, she is an awful fielder, and wasn’t getting any better, and with Laird being a freshman, and several elite infielders coming in next year who can hit and field, she didn’t have a future in our infield. Her future here was at DH, and maybe she just wanted more than that.
It’s a shame, because she is a multi threat offensive player, all SEC type talent at the plate. Don’t know if she is still dinged up, or was healthy and just couldn’t get back in the lineup due to the awesome production our starting lineup has. The last few times she hit she just looked lost.
Hope she lands somewhere where she is happy, maybe closer to home like in the PAC. At a team that doesn’t give a crap about defense. Deep down I think she wants to play in the infield, and that just wasn’t happening here. Best of luck to her.
