Here's Kentucky's players. 10 of them shot better than 38.6%, which is what Pinson shot this year. 9 of them shot better than 39%, which is Pinson's career FG%. Their only two players to get minutes and shoot worse than Pinson were freshmen.
Assuming Pinson doesn't miraculously improve as a shooter in one offseason, that's where he'd slot in.
Also, Kentucky was terrible and went 9-16, so it's not like we're comparing Pinson to an elite group of players. MU had a better roster and a better team this year.
