To me a lot of stress on the team occurred because of lack of guard depth. The coach could have just played the hot hand if he had a highly capable 3rd guard. The players would have adapted to different playing time, and Pinson would know he had to play his best at all times.
Losing a healthy Pickett was another blow to the team.
We just needed more talent in my opinion.
