70 mph zone. Clear day, no other cars around me, on a straight and divided interstate.

Officer wrote it down to 5 mph over, the prosecutor amended it to an incorrect equipment and broken muffler charge.

I was driving 11 mph over (not 5 mphs over) and my muffler was not broken. No one was endangered by my driving, and in fact, the most dangerous parts of the ordeal involved the cars having to move over to the inside lane to give space to us on the outside shoulder and the moment I had to re-enter the interstate from 0 mphs starting point.

Was that the system working?
