one to get to the basket with no extra effort. All else equal, that extra distance should have very little effect on the shooting percentage. I think that would be backed up by comparing % on 3's vs. 15 ft or 15 ft vs around 6 ft. If the only variable is distance I think the % won't vary much.
Certainly not on our team, which may miss more open shots inside 6 ft AND layups as well than anyone.
