And how it took you so long to answer the yes or no question I have no idea.

But for the sake of answering questions asked of me, regardless of their relevance to the conversation, I will answer it again.

The ownership gets me recourse to regain possession of my property. Insurance claim is one example of that recourse. Simply taking it back, without fear of being arrested for theft, is another answer that ummmm gave you. There are others as well.
