trying to replicate what the Royals did in 2014/15.
Play really good defense, throw strikes, great bullpen and on offense just don't strike out...put the f'ing ball in play and put pressure on the defense.
It seems like such a simple formula i don't get why more teams don't try to copy it. Especially teams that won't have a huge payroll like the Royals or programs that won't recruit at an elite level like MU.
I'd recruit speed, defense and contact in position players while with pitching i'd load up on guys with big arms but still have some crafty guys.
