We had different expectations then. Powers came in and had some early success with Onofrios players but his Achilles heel seemed to be recruiting. As the years went on, his record reflected that, problem was fans expected championships.
Dollar Dave Hart the AD at the time I think put a lot of pressure on him to tout his team as a contender which probably wasn’t warranted.
Drinking too mucking fuch, that case could be made. Coeds ? Unless someone has more info than I do, not that I remember
