hearing is unconstitutional why are they participating?
The first one was a complete farce but totally within the legal bounds of the House and Senate.
If they personally do not believe that this hearing is constitutional why are they giving it legitimacy by participating? Let the Dems run their dog and pony show on a half-full Senate floor. To remove Trump from office, which he has already vacated, the Dems need 67 votes. There is no difference between voting no and simply refusing to participate. Let the final vote be fifty-something to zero.
It would be nice to see the GOP stand up for principle, just once. They are going back to being the spineless weasels they were before Trump took office. Trump is a disgusting individual but at least he stands for something.
