No pandemic has ever been handled this way. The masses have accepted zoom calls, restaurants at limited capacity, masks, school closures, distancing, no fans at sporting events as pretty much "the new normal" over a virus that is essentially harmless to the working age and younger population.
The media and government are still making this thing out to be like the plague 11 months later despite all we now know and vaccines already developed.
Despite all the evidence of how the virus spreads and fizzles out regardless of lockdowns, the government continues adding regulations and a lot of the population continue asking for more. The old phrase "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" comes to mind.
