and lately mask shaming. Obviously we know why, but digging into the numbers says there isn't a lot of credibility to the shaming. Interestingly in none of these comments/articles have I seen it mentioned that Florida is better than the national average in cases and deaths per capita. I guess that's inconvenient to the argument.

Florida and Missouri's Covid stats per capita very virtually identical. Florida has 83,050 cases per million and Missouri has 82,790. Florida has 1,295 deaths per million and Missouri has 1,262. Both states current numbers are pretty good, especially Missouri. Daily case rates are what they were back in late summer.
