According to the internets Sonny Liston was in a similar line of work in St Louis for the grandfather of a man I worked with for many years.
You would never have known the guy's grandfather was high up in the mob if you met him. Nicest guy you could hope to meet and he insisted his grandfather was a nice guy - and I'm sure he was unless you crossed him.
