Mostly as a hedge in case Trump tried not to leave or he did and the blue wave equaled even more printing, but apparently that’s one of the next short busting targets for the wsb autists.
Hopefully we don’t get regulated out of this type of thing, I see retail trading being a check and balance on overzealous short sellers.
I think the fact that this type retail short busting is now a risk that has to be accounted for in institutional risk profiles is probably enough to keep things in control in the future.
But I fully expect Congress to see the retail as the problem instead.
