at market order but they dickered around and the price kept falling so he place a cancel on that sell order and put in a limit order to sell. But they were either delayed or ignored his cancellation and a bit later sold it at market quite a bit below when he had placed it.

That may not have been any shenanigans but it seems like the way things are computerized they should have been able to sell it in more timely fashion and also to cancel his order in more timely fashion as well.

On the other hand they were dealing with very high volume.
