is it possible that some cracker merely plssed off a nobleman and was banished to the new world?

Indentured servants were sent on the same ships in the same conditions as slaves. They worked without pay. They were beaten if they underperformed. If they attempted to run away, they were whipped and their term of indenture was extended.

Many of them died in indenture.

Are their descendants not entitled to compensation?

Or is it a black thing?
