the vast majority of this comes down to raising the bar in recruiting (which is being done already) and player development.

Odom didn't get fired because he changed the defensive scheme or whatever it is the narrative goes. He got fired because the the roster wasn't good/consistent enough.

The schemes/philosophy that is implemented will work well if we have the players to make it go. If not, scheme is irrelevant.
