proves he's more than qualified.
But my questions are:
1. Is he ready to take on D1 athletes. Fifteen years is a long time. Mizzou recruits have to be coached up, you can't just plug'em in like the pros. When our boys prove they are just that, is Wilks up to the challenge of challenging young men?
2. Defending the pass is great, but ultimately the fate of SEC teams rests on how they defend the run. Zone, 4-3, Prevent to force dinks and dunks sounds like a good way to get run over by the Mack truck that is the SEC.
3. Odom decommissioned D-Line Zou so that linebackers could be heroes. Please tell me we are now not going to blitz all the time so that DBs can be heroes.
If I get to choose between D-Line Zou and Odom's scheme or a DB-based scheme, I'll take D-Line Zou every single time, regardless of what happens in Atlanta.
Why do I feel like we're about to see some of our best offense ever, but that it won't keep most games from being in question until the end.
I hope I'm wrong.
