That's over 200x multiple, which even puts some of my older BTC investments to shame (in terms of multiple, not overall return).

Domains are an underappreciated investment class, and they're fun. I have about 1000 in my portfolio that I paid ~$200k for over the past 7 years or so. If you're patient, you can make huge returns (10-200x) and the risk is fairly low (if you know what you're doing). Renewal fees for my portfolio are $10k per year, but that's more than covered by the sale of just 1 domain on average.

Some of the negotiations get REALLY contentious, LOL. People get mad when they find out their domain of choice isn't cheap.
