Either way, I couldn't disagree more. Morally, I would not be ok with killing another person unless I felt like it was the absolute last resort in fear of my life or if I were saying others' lives. It would take some serious mental gymnastics to believe that she would have saved anyone's life by putting a bullet in the back of his head as he was driving away.

The legal argument is bullsh*t. Cops are protected legally so they can get away with murder.
