Attack a cop = get shot, isn't the same as Breonna Taylor (they broke into her house), or kneeling on George Floyd's neck.
Putting on a badge doesn't give a right to kneel on someone's neck - but it also doesn't take away one's right to defend oneself (or the people that one is charged to defend.)
Clearly that cop acted in defense of himself/the representatives that he was protecting - he stopped the threat. The real problem was that the incompetent cops on the outside didn't stop the rioters before they entered the building.
