can't see the difference between a cop putting his knee on a subdued prisoner's neck for nine minutes - and shooting someone who is advancing on him....then you're dumber than I thought.

If you're going to compare this to a case - Michael Brown would be a better parallel. If a cop has reason to fear for his/her safety (or the safety of his/her charges), then he has a right (or a duty, in the case of the charges), to shoot. Even if it's an unarmed female - when there's a mob coming behind her.
