Yes-they were malls. Oak Park and Independence Center are in the present tense for now until the “teenagers” ruin them as will surely happen. Add in Westport , the Plaza, and most likely Power and Light for the future. I once heard, if it wasn’t for “teenagers” there would be no news-I can’t disagree with that premise.
