I’d think Pingeton is relatively secure at MU.
Last years disaster needs to be the low water mark, and by a long shot.
The loss of Cunningham is zero of an excuse for collapsing like that. Most all competitive programs have players of Cunningham’s status or above, many repeatedly.
Pingeton had several consecutive years of horrible recruiting , so last years collapse was inevitable.
I’ve regarded Pingeton as a credibile game manager and an outstanding face of the program.
She’ll only be as good as the level of talent coming out of Missouri’s high schools , and her ability to land enough of those players to win and at an above average SEC level.
Her doing that type of recruiting has been hit and miss.
