"Failure" is a hallmark of mankind. It's the degree of failure that attracts people to a certain form of society. IS it not safe to say, people are willing to put up with a certain level of taxation, govt. incompetence, red tape, and infringements on their rights in order to ultimately have a strong level of predictable protection from the barbarians at the gate?
