time ago. But where the "crack" is would require pulling out all of the base boards and basically ripping up the entire room OR cutting across the middle of the room. I didn't really want to do either until I had talked to someone. I assumed he would want to pull the carpet up during his inspection.
I did cut a seam and roll it back myself this morning so they hadn't show up yet to start working.
