teacher I have talked to has said the current failure rate is at least twice normal and in many places about four times normal.

I teach freshman algebra which is always a tough class for kids. With just a week left in our semester only about 1/3 of my kids are passing. Our current schedule only allows me to see each student two or three times every two weeks. And sadly our schedule is much more student friendly than most in our area.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
