I can also understand Drink buying into Walters bill of goods he was selling. And maybe he was the best available at the time. That might even still be the case. I've had to hire people I know won't work out because I have to have a warm body to do work at some point. But any talk of the defensive coaching at an acceptable level is poppycock.
