Anybody who thought this might be competitive

And we were lucky to score 14 with the punt block basically scoring one TD. With no Spring ball, Drink didn't have time to build his offense. It is what it is. I have confidence it will get better.

There's no excuses for the defense though. The defense wasn't capable of holding GA under 30, so there was no chance for Mizzou on this game. Walters is running his same system that doesn't work. And it's not just talent. The guys on defense don't play like other teams. Their tackling is way below average and that is something a good coach can teach regardless of talent. And how long has it been since we've had a DB turn around to look for a pass? That is coaching. Turnovers are non-existent.
Again, coaching. On those occasions when Walters inferior scheme or their inferior talent gets them in a position to make the play, they don't make it. That's coaching. And it's nothing new. Walters needs to go.
