For this Melchizedek,
king of Salem,
priest of the Most High God, who
met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all,
first being translated “king of righteousness,” and
then also king of Salem,
meaning “king of peace,”
without father,
without mother,
without genealogy,
having neither beginning of days nor end of life, (Melchizedek is eternal)
but MADE like the Son of God,
remains a priest continually.
You continue to ignore the plain language which describes Melchizedek, not His priesthood. It says HE was without father. He had the eternal priesthood. If Christ is not Melchizedek, Melchizedek's priesthood ended when Christ took it over, but it says Melchizedek remains a priest continually. So who is God's priest if Melchizedek is not Christ?
Also, Same Root Word used to describe Melchizedek and Christ.
