England demonstrates the trend to go from low wage area to low wage area beginning in New Britain and moving to Stockton where the need for jobs was high, but as the community developed and low wage jobs were not a draw, those mills moved to the south where the hunger for work was high and as those areas developed, eventually the mill owners move to Japan and then China and Vietnam, Mexico of Thailand.
MY JOB was not to cater to the low end, but to the high end - because THAT served the communities and the state best. This still over your head?
