The Democratic party is intellectually dominated by AOC, her squad, Bernie and Elizabeth. Their attempts to help people are well meaning, their methodology, i.e. socialism, is a disaster. Name a single socialist economy that has ever been successful.

And before you mention Scandinavia, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark are not socialist economies. The capitalist systems that have a large public welfare component.

In a socialist economy, the means of production, the productive enterprises, are owned by the state and economic decisions are made by the state. And I will assure you that's not the case in Scandinavia.
