although I’ve heard of opted out players being kept on the roster too. Maybe it just varies from one school to another.
Something has been up with LMM since matches started this fall. No way is Sauer, who was barely used last year, better than a healthy LMM. Yet she’s been starting in front of her. Word was LMM was recovering from an injury, possibly shoulder, and hadn’t been medically cleared to play front court.
In limited duty she only had 2,3, and 4 attacks in the first three matches, then had 14 attacks in the second Kentucky match, and had 5 kills but 4 errors for a hitting percentage of only .071.
Now she’s gone, for some reason.
