I think some of the MN talk is predicated on the decision of the 8th Circuit to set aside absentee ballots if they haven't arrived by 8pm on election day.
I read at last count there were 580,000 ballots that had not been returned. If one makes the assumption that Democrats are heavy users of those ballots, and there exists a possibility they may not be counted, then I think the Trump campaign sees an opportunity to win the state.
The fact that Biden is campaigning there makes me think that they know that too.
