Winning comes about from ability and mentality. Pinkel had to change both. Our O line size in 2000 was roughly 255pds. Our largest was maybe 275. We were undersized against most teams. Brad Smith was the right QB.

Drinkwitz will lose some but I would not expect it to take 4 years to get the program to where it needs to be. Not predicting NCs or Conference Winners but I expect to be competitive within 3. If I'm correct in my assessment, we should be more worried about retaining him as he does pull the runaway bride thing. If Florida, Tennessee, or LSU were to become available he might run. It's my only worry with Drinkwitz. And then we start again.
