Is there an asterik? I give Odom full credit for the seasons

he had and what he did with the parts he had. Odom lost his job because in 18 he won out 5 of his last 7 games and in 19 he lost 5 of his last 6 games. That he was 4-4 in conference play in 17 and 18, and 2-6 in 19. We knew he could win some pretty weak non conference games but had problems with the others. He wasn't trending upward and it looked like a program in decline. Pinkel finished in the top 25 5 times in 14 years, and was in it 11 times. Odom, barely got in temporarily, twice. Odom wasn't ready to be a HC and it would have been a Mason (Vandy) time investment to see if he could. A Big step back for our program if he didn't. I thank Barry Odom for taking the job and trying. Wish he'd succeeded. He didn't.
