line, odds are you won't be making them at a much better rate from a couple of steps in. Honestly, I think we're much better off taking a 3-pointer than a couple of steps closer. Like Staley said below, our players would have to shoot almost 50% better from mid-range for the math to add up.
Our problem hasn't been the taking of 3's versus mid-range jumpers. It is the making of any sort of shot.
