i am not saying I am for shutting it down but it is infringing on privacy of US citizens

China already has facial recognition linked to personal information on EVERY one of their citizens and tracks them.

You want China to have files on everyone in the US too? It isn't just those on Tik Tok that they will gather data. Also why huawei all over the world is dangerous

Anyone remotely connected to those using TikTok are also being logged. Think all internet searches by those folks and all social media they connect to. If your daughter uses it there is a file in China on you too

At least it should be harder for them to do it than their own gateway into the US
