out of lesser rated guys but he HAD a history of getting enough decent players to be a competitive and Tourney-at-least-bubble type team.
While I didn't figure he would win championships I thought 10-15 years of a guy like Cuonzo would be a great program stabilizer.
What we are getting is below average recruiting, boring basketball, poor development and coaching, and no X-O ability to overcome team limitations.
This is the last year folks will give him the benefit of the doubt since he is focused on non-basketball things when his performance has been awful.
Unless his shooters become makers by a substantial increase this year, he will be doomed and just running out his contract looking for a Tulsa to pay his last years.
Too bad i thought he was the perfect hire, even with his limitations
