a fraction of a second and the players are usually still well separated. Outsides do not hit off of the net unless it is a bad set and even middles usually hit from at least a couple of feet back.

Watch five minutes of this game and tell me how many seconds opposing players were within 3' of each other.



If teams get infected it will be teammate to teammate not from the opposition.
