"Karmo was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. Smith was charged with aiding a felon's possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and unlawful use of a controlled substance."

1. In this case... eg. they never should have been arrested, they should be given their weapons and pot back & perhaps reasonably reimbursed for their inconvenience?

2. In all cases... eg. If they were alleged to be terrorists and had purchased nuclear devices and had plans on them for blowing them up during a public gathering?

3. If the police had knocked on the door and identified themselves as police officers with a warrant and the young men had told them to F off... and the police opened the door with the manager's key and the men shot and killed the police... and they were arrested for it... Do you agree that they were acting in self-defense, should be released, and given their weapons back?
