system screw up was due to a TDaP vaccination, but the doctors suspected it was the cause as he had no infections or exposure to harmful chemicals, and it occurred within a couple weeks of the vaccination. Just when the adaptive immune response would be kicking in.

They are pausing just to gather more data.
