that America is mystified about but which the world has largely solved. Healthcare is one, as you pointed out. Gun violence is another obvious one. Climate change is figured out to the extent that 95% of the world agrees it's real. I think it's us and Syria who are maybe left denying it.
It's quite incredible how unnecessarily expense and complicated we make issues that don't need to be. I'm not suggesting that healthcare is a problem that can be solved with the waving of a wand, but the idea that the old for profit system is still a good fit has been debunked many times over.
