He mostly gave the Dems what they want...in fact he overgave, especially in New York, when he sent them more than they actually used.

the media was mad that he did not do a national shut down, but instead he gave them Dems the guidance on shutting down, and what was considered essential, while giving them trillions to support that. The media wanted him to be the guy...he refused to be that guy....probably because the media still wanted to put all the blame on him...which they would have anyways.

Yes, on twitter, and at times during the press conferences, he played the contrarian, but follow the recommendations and the money...now what he did on stupid fights with the media and on Twitter.

Especially when, in August, he still claims to have saved hundreds of thousands of lives with his China ban.

The media will pick his opposite direction every time...that whole incident played out when he said he could force everything open and the media said you can't. and he has done it multiple times since.

Follow the money and the recommendations, not the sideshow.
